Samsung Galaxy S10 Review – it all new
The ink has barely dried on Samsung’s Galaxy s9 review but rumors are swirling about next year’s model. Samsung has announced the launch of its latest phone on its 10th anniversary with a more advanced camera and stunning looks where it promises to be one of the remarkable releases in years. Moreover, it is likely to beat up all the failures that Samsung’s Galaxy S9 suffered from and will go up against latest iPhones which are expected to be released this year.
Samsung Galaxy S10 which is going to be one of the leading and world-beating smartphones is going to have the following amazing features:
Samsung announced that this handset is created with an OLED display panel that is not only flexible but unbreakable as well. According to UL, the U.S. Department of Defense passed the unbreakable display from rigorous and real-time durability test that is based on military standards. However, after the evaluation, the panel was certified as “unbreakable”.
If you have been dreaming about optical zoom, wide angle lens and portrait mode lens system in one camera then Samsung has changed it into a reality with three rear lenses at the back camera; one main durable camera sensor, second with optical zoom sensor and the third 16 Mp, F1.9 wide angle lens.
Samsung Galaxy S10 comes with two lenses at front camera better for supporting wide angle and best depth effects for selfies. This tremendous feature of providing optical zoom and a wide-angle lens in one phone is definitely going to be the major game changer.
Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
Samsung Galaxy S10 is speculated to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Instead of using optical sensors which are lightweight, this new sensor will use sound waves to map out one’s fingerprints which provide faster and secure authentication source than what is currently on the market. It also works with wet fingers.
This is going to be the first smartphone in the market with 5G speed using X50 5G modem supporting up to 5 Gigabits download speed making the promise of 5G into a reality. Along with this, Samsung will be providing three S10 models; S10 Lite, S10, and S10+. S10Lite will be providing all the latest features excluding in-display fingerprint scanner while two others will be having a curved display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, S10+ is supposed to be most advanced accomplished with all the new features.
Galaxy S10 Samsung smartphone is planning to bundle a high-end screen in the Galaxy S10 that will pack more than 600 pixels per inch and the only way to do that is to bump the resolution to 4k. The S10+ could be the one to have upgraded resolution and highly expected to rock with its high-quality bezel-free display which is the biggest change in design since Galaxy S8. Samsung has been looking to reduce bezels particularly by applying a curve on the panel. However, this time it is going to remove the chin and reduce the top bezel which is quite similar to Apple. In the announcement at SID week, it welcomed a whole new design by removing the earpiece with the help of new sound-on display technology wherein the screen itself will emit sound.
Samsung smartphone Galaxy 10 will feature a new iteration of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip, most likely the Snapdragon 855. Galaxy S10 is going to be the first phone to have the latest 7nm chip architecture to bring the ultimate performance with clock speeds up to 3.3 GHz, supporting ten percent faster performance and forty percent power efficient as compared to current generation 10 nm processor. Moreover, Samsung has officially announced the successful development of industry’s first 10nm based 8 GB LPDDR5 DRAM which will set the stage for introducing 5G network and artificial intelligence power mobile application. It boasts a data rate of up to 6,400 Mb/s which is 1.5 times faster than mobile DRAM chips used in the current flagship mobile devices making it the most versatile mobile memory solution and paving the way for next-generation smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S10 has been criticized for not creating 3D face scanner which you might have been longing for years but now Galaxy S10 includes a 3D camera, potentially equaling the iPhone X experience. In order to provide 3D-sensing camera tech for Samsung’s upcoming smartphones, it has teamed up with 3D-camera start-up Mantis Vision. Instead of using the optical sensor, Samsung has gone for an ultrasonic sensor which is considered to be more reliable and faster than the traditional scanners and would still work in wet conditions.
These mind-blowing features and jaw-dropping looks are not going to achieve huge success in the market but also will give a tough time to its competitors.
